Kathy Dawn Polk, 16, of Rt. 3 Monroe died Sunday in a Charlotte hospital following a short illness.
She was born April 26, 1959, daughter of Arnold Ray Polk and Evelyn Joyce Walters Polk of Rt. 3 who survive with a brother Roger Ray Polk of the home; and her grandparents, Mrs. Vera Walters, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Polk all of Monroe.
Services for Miss. Polk will be Tuesday at 2:30 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Ministers will be Rev. Gary Hunsucker, Rev. Robert Taylor, and Rev. C. H. Arrowood.
