Mr. Zachry was married to Miss Emma Bartell, who was born in California and was educated in Kansas University, from which she was graduated. Later she pursued post-graduate work in Austin. Texas, and is a lady whose superior intelligence and culture combined with a genial social nature have rendered her a favorite in society circles in Uvalde. She is also an able and helpful member of the Presbyterian church. To Mr. and Mrs. Zachry have been born two sons; Jack, who died when four years of age, and Henry, born in August, 1902.
