Hester A. (Hester) Warren is sometimes seen as having a death date of 1882 but the following shows this to be untrue:
#1. She bore children to Calvin Warren in 1881, 1883, 1885, 1887 and 1889.
#2. She is found in Calvin Warren's household on the 1900 census in Angelina Co., TX and shown as age 55, born May 1845, married 34 yrs, born MS, 13 children born, 8 children living.
#3. Calvin Warren remarried in 1905, so Hester's death date timeline would be between 1900 and 1905 in Angelina Co., TX.
Della Woods, who posted the original memorial for Hester, placed Hester's death as "1902". Della has personally viewed the broken tombstone.
Debra Coursey-Pitts provided us with a complete death date for Hester of April 19, 1902 and stated the info was taken from earlier records when stone was still in one piece.
