Son of Charles Taylor Watt and Nancy Montgomery of Pittsburgh, PA.

He married Ella M. Cochran in 1885. She was the daughter of Cyrus W. Cochran and Eliza J. Gormley.

Albert James Watt and Ella Gormley Watt had one son, Charles Cyrus Watt.


Albert was the grandfather of Albert J. Watt, Jr. and Jean Adelaide Watt (Loucks).
