Bethiah was the daughter of Samuel and Susanah Hall Moss. She was born 2 March 1723 at Wallingford, CT. Bethiah married John Canfield (1725-1796) on 19 Jan 1748/49 at Durham and she died at Durham 17 Oct 1782. She was buried at Old Durham cemetery next to her son Thomas and daughter Submit.
