Colin Cooper

Musician. He was a founding member, saxophone player and vocalist of the British musical group The Climax Blues Band. Also known as The Climax Chicago Blues Band, they formed in Stafford, England in 1968. They are best known internationally for the hits "Couldn't Get It Right", (which reached number 3 in 1977) and "I Love You" (1981). The group recorded over a dozen albums from 1969 into the 1990s including "Plays On" (1969), "Tightly Knit" (1971), "Gold Plated" (1976) and "Lucky For Some" (1981). (bio by: C.S.)
