Late reports from the bedside of Mr. Albert H. Allred, we grieve to say, are not encouraging. He is unconscious as this is written and the gravest fears are entertained by his loved ones and friends. Mr. Allred, in company with his wife, had just completed a trip to Martinsville last Saturday night, and was on the homeward trip, when his wife called his attention to the fact that he was driving too near the edge of the road. He suggested that he might have a flat tire, and got out to look. He found his tires all right but could not get back into his car. Someone passed and assisted him home. ~ Hazlehurst Courier
