Samuel Laswell Dead.
Samuel Lasswell was born on the Jesse Fate farm in Cass Township, Fulton county, Illinois, October 11, 1832 and had always resided in the vicinity of Smithfield. He died at his home north of Smithfield Wednesday afternoon December 20th.
In 1853 he was married to Sarah C. Lippe and to them were born four children, three of whom are living, they are Mrs. Frank Bolon, John Laswell and Mrs. Nelson Eveland.
Mr. Laswell has not enjoyed the best of health for a number of years and his passing away was not entirely unexpected.
The funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 o'clock, at the Buckeye church and Rev. Robinson Ashby of Lewistown will preach the funeral.
