The Harmon native was a retired assistant superintendent of the Shreveport city water department. A resident of Shreveport for 30 years, he was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
The funeral was at 1 p.m., Wednesday, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating was the Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and Aaron Paul Erwin of Leesville. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.
