For over 50 years he was the voice for a liberal and progressive democracy that shaped the destiny of America and the world. As one of the 20th Century's premier philosophers, he ranks with the greatest thinkers on the subjects of pedagogy, philosophy of mind, epistemology, logic, philosophy of science, social and political theory. From 1905 to 1929, he traveled the world as a philosopher, social and political theorist and educational consultant.
