Hammon Johnston Died on Tuesday
Hammond Johnston, better known as "Ham", former resident of Mesquite, died at Rockwall at 7:00 o'clock Tuesday night, following a stroke of appoplexy, which he suffered about 8:00 o'clock Monday night.
He is survived by his wife, three borthers and two sisters as follows: H.M. Johnston of Mesquite, Don Johnston of Dallas and Jason Johnston of Rowlett; Mrs. Rosie Crumpley of Dallas and Mrs. Roy Groves of Grand Prairie. He was 49 years old age.
The remains were brought her for burial Wednesday afternoon and interment took place at the Bennett cemetery south of town, funeral services being conducted at ht egrave by Rev. Smith, pastor of the Rockwall Christian church.
