MISS KATHERINE ZUMBRO
Funeral services for Miss Katherine Zumbro, 87, of 106 Muskingum St. will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Doudna & McClure funeral home. The Rev. Otto Breuhaus will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
Miss Zumbro died Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Marietta Memorial Hospital.
A native of Fearing Twp., she was born Dec. 28, 1866, a daughter of the late Peter and Maria Gerber Zumbro. She was confirmed in the First Evangelical Church of Muskingum Twp. and moved to Marietta in 1926.
Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ulmer, of Whipple Rt.2; two nephews, Oscar Z. Best of Lowell Rt.2 and Alfred Ulmer of Whipple, and one niece, Mrs. Ray Rech, of Marietta Rt.3, and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews including Mrs. Velma Schantz, who was reared in the Zumbro home.
Brothers and sisters preceding her in death were Charles Zumbro, Miss Emilie Zumbro and Mrs. Daniel Best.
