Schmidt, Elsie Boese, 88, of Goessel, KS died April 12, 2008 at Goessel, KS from a stroke.
She was born October 18, 1919 at Marion County, KS to A. L. and Maria (Schroeder) Boese.
On September 3, 1948 she was married to Elmer Schmidt.
Surviving are children, Janice and Joel Worthington, Diana and Gary Roberts,
Glen and Marie Schmidt, five grandchildren, three brothers, Dannie Schmidt, Alvin Boese, Ralph Boese, and one sister, Rosella Duerksen.
A daughter, Jerilyn preceded her in death.
Memorial services were held April 15, 2008 at Tabor Mennonite Church, Goessel, Kansas with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
She was a member of Mennonite Church USA
