Funeral Services Were Held From St. Mary's Church May 30
Funeral service s were held here Saturday , Ma y 3 0 from St . Mary's
Catholic church for Mr . Anton Krogman who passed away on
Wednesday , Ma y 27, death being due to complications of diseases.
M r . Krogman was born August 14, 1873 in Germany , having attained
the age of 68 years and several months. On January 9, 1896,
he was united in marriage to Kate Tremmel at Ashton . His wife preceded
him in death 17 years ago . Eigh t children were born to this union , Carl,
Alvin, Ed , John of Ashton , Math of Adrian , Minn. , Mrs . William Niichel
and Rosella Krogman of Ashton and Mrs . Victor Dagel of Sibley , all of whom
mourn his departure . He also leaves to mourn 23 grandchildren , one brother,
August Krogman of Minneapolis, two sisters, Mrs . Henry Etolbers of Iona , Minn.
, Mrs . Anton Honkomp of Ashton . H e was a faithful member of the Holy Name
Society . Six nephews acted as pallbearers, Frank Berning of Adrian, George
Krogman of Lismore , Frank Ebbers of Iona , Jack Krogman , Frank Kolbeck and
Ed Konkomp . Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. Out-of-town relatives
attending the funeral of Mr . Anton Krogman were : Mr. and Mrs . Henry Ebbers,
Tony and Frank Ebbers , Mrs. John Ackermn and Mrs . Hermeling of Iona , Minn. ,
Mrs. Henry Krogman , Bill Krogman , Mr . and Mrs . George Krogman and Joe
Berning , Mr . an d Mrs . Art Gacke of Adrian , Minn .
