Remembrance Notes:

Mom had a special talent. She was able to give all four of us as children what she did not get consistantly growing up: love, stability, security, and a sense that life could be fun and rewarding. She was always young at heart and was able to keep all the different personalities of the family together and generally happy.

Of course, we all miss her now and would enjoy her presence and council. However, I carry her memory and spirit with me as it has been with me since the day I was born. How lucky most of us are to have a Mom to care for us and raise us. I certianly feel lucky she was there for me and will never forget her. I can only hope that I have been able to pass along what Mom gave to me to my own daughter.

My daughter is a lot like her: a natural beauty, sweet and thoughtful, smart and stubborn, a great listener and student with many talents. I'm so proud as I see her growing into a young woman and know Mom would be too.

So in a way Mom lives forever, her spirit moving forward in the generations, silent in some ways, fully seen in others, but always there, nice to know, she's always around.
