Funeral services for A. D. Pounders, 52, were held in Phillips & Luckey Chapel with burial in Hugh Wilson Cemetery, Tanglewood. Rev. Browning Ware of Austin First Baptist Church officiated. Mr. Pounders died Friday at Holy Cross Hospital, Austin, after a short illness. He had resided in Austin for the past four years. He had previously lived in Austin, leaving there in 1975 to reside in North Carolina. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home of Rockdale was in charge of arrangements.
