Miss Clara M. Ruble, 72, died Sunday at 11:58 a.m. in the home of her niece, Mrs. Ross Carroll, near Hoppel's Corner's following a several month's illness.
She was born Dec. 19, 1882, at Mineral Wells, West Virginia and lived in East Liverpool and vicinity for 55 years. A pottery worker, Miss Ruble was employed by the Ceramic Specialities Company before her last illness.
She was a member of Casters Union No. 4, IBOP, and Pentecostal Mission on the Calcutta - Smiths Ferry Road. She leaves no survives other than nephews, nieces and cousins.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Home by Hallie Pinkerton. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday afternoon and night at the funeral home.

Her mother was Margaret Matilda Melrose. She married Paul Huffman Ruble 16 Feb 1882 Wood Co. West Virginia.
I thought it was confusing too until I found the marriage record for them.
