Everett J. Tingle, age 92 of Campbellsburg, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was the son of the late Pete and Fannie Tingle, a WWII Army veteran, a farmer and former car salesman.
He is survived by one son, Denny Tingle and wife, Linda Jo, Campbellsburg; one daughter, Janis Kirchdorfer and husband, Scott, Morehead; one brother, Edward Dee Tingle, New Castle; six granddaughters and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee Tingle, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7 at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg. Rev. Bert Montgomery of Campbellsburg Baptist officiated. Special music was provided by Minnie Chilton. Interment was in Sulphur Cemetery.
