Lilias was born in Hamilton Stone Row Overtown,Lanarkshire Scotland,she sailed the Cameronia from Glasgow Scotland to the US in 1928 relocated with her husband William T.Whitefield who had sailed to the US with his Mother Helen Thomson Whitefield in 1926 two yrs before wife Lilias,they started a family in Muskingum Ohio born 3 children in Muskingum,first born son John T.Whitefield second born a daughter Annie Marshall Whitefield(Midcap)youngest child a son George Allan Whitefield,Lilias was active in the county of Muskingum serving the community as the wife of a baptist Minister she served well,they relocated to Parkersburg West Virginia,she died of a sudden heart attack at her home in West Palm Beach Fla,at age 49,her parents were Allan & Annie(Wilson) Wighton of Scotland,she had Three brothers & Five sisters,Lilias's mother in law Helen Thomson Whitefield is buried in an unmarked grave not far from Lilias.
