Funeral services for Mrs. Worley W. Dickey, 88, of Route 2 Quitman were held Sunday afternoon in Forest Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Dimsdle and Rev J.C. Pollard officiating.
Burial was in the Hopewell Cemetery directed by Cain Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dickey died Saturday in the Heritage Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
A native of Ellis County, she had lived in the Quitman area most of the life. She was married to B.G. Dickey in 1901. Her husband died in 1959. Mrs. Dickey was a member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.O. Robinson of Quitman and Mrs. Fred Sandifer of Dallas; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
