FORT MYERS NEWS-PRESS, Sunday, May 18, 1975 - Capt. Walter Eugene Bostick, 85, died recently. He was born in Polk City and had been the captain of the Bobbie at Snug Harbor Marina at Fort Myers Beach for almost 50 years.
He is survived by his wife Frances Bostick of Tice; two sons, George Douglas Bostick Sr. and Walter Francis Bostick, both of Winter Park; one sister, Audrey Lee of Ocala; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery.
