William Dutcher died February 8 after several months illness at his home at Clarksburg. He had been blind for several years. He was born March 14, 1873, the son of the late Chas. and Eliza Jane Dutcher. In 1902, he married Valentine Dutcher, who died just a year ago.
Two Children Survive
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Clarence Shackleford and Miss Maudie Lee Dutcher, of the home besides a sister, Anna and a brother, Jack, both of Latham. Funeral services were held at the Clarksburg Baptist church Saturday with the Rev. J. S. Laws officiating assisted by Rev. Charles Swinney. Pallbearers were Fordyce Dooley, Elmer Martin, Rev. Denzil Albin, Charles Robertson, Frank Leonard, Clifford Elliott. Burial was at the Latham cemetery.
