Father of Naney, Medith, William, Drusie, John Mack, Strother, Dovie, Joseph, Lucy, Alice, Herman, Dorothy and Sarah Nelle.

Green Brodas Wise was born and married at Irving, Kentucky

Left Kentucky in 1900, Came to Iowa in Year of 1915, to Britt in 1926.

Death entered a farm home Monday afternoon removing the father, Green Brodas Wise. The family resided on the Wm. Cummings farm six miles northeast of Britt. They had moved there recently from a farm in Bingham township. Mr. Wise was almost 64 years old, having been born on May 25, 1862. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 o’clock p.m. from the Methodist church. Rev. John Drake Wolcott will deliver the funeral sermon.

Green Brodas Wise was born at Irving, Kentucky. He grew up there and was married to Sarah Ann McSwain, of Irving, on March 5, 1882. The family lived at Irving, Ky., until the year 1900 when they moved to McClain, Ill. In 1915, they moved to a farm near Wesley, Iowa, and in 1918, removed to a farm in Bingham township, Hancock county.

Surviving are one brother, Garrol Wise, of Irving, Ky., two sisters, Mrs. James Artist, of Ashland, Ky., and Mrs. Elizabeth Wiseman, of Irving, Ky.; and twelve children; Mrs. Ed Hammons of Titonka; Mrs. Archie Burger, of Burt; W.A. Wise, of Houston, Texas; Mrs. David Noble, of Titonka; Mack Wise, of Britt; Mrs. Charles Stratton, of Titonka; W.S. Wise, of Wesley; Mrs. Henry Phillips, of Crystal Lake; Joseph Lee, Herman, Dorothy and Nell Wise at home.

Mr. Wise was a member of the Methodist church at McClain, Ill., and of the modern Woodmen lodge at Wesley, Iowa.

Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery, Britt.
