Norma V. Kessler, 55, of 1983 Le Fevre Rd., Troy, died Wednesday evening in Strouder Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since July.
Born in Eubank, Kentucky, February 14, 1915, she was a daughter of Powell and Dora May.
Surviving are her parents; husband Norris Kessler; a daughter, Mrs. William (Beverly Ann) Etter of Bethesda, Maryland, a son, Terry, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Ralph Sutherly and Mrs. Roger Rice, both of Springfield, Mrs. Ernest Tasker of Troy, Mrs. Edith Kuntz of Florida; and two grandchildren.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Fidelity Chapter No. 88 of the Eastern Star. She taught Religious Education in Troy Public School.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church. Pastor Douglas Peters will officiate. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the Deeter Funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Scholarship fund of the First Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
