On July 9,1901 Ernest Wiseman "Wisie" Biggs sent a note to Lillie by his youngest brother. It read, Miss Lillie Crowell At Home - I would be pleased to call and accompany you to preaching tonight if agreeable. Your friend Wiseman Biggs. Less than six months later on Jan. 2, 1902 they were married in Caldwell Co., Texas. Their children were: William Jennings "Willie J." Biggs, John Vernon "Pete" Biggs, Alton Francis "Doc' Biggs, Mattie Leona "Sis" (Biggs) West, Sarah Bernice "Dolly" (Biggs) McCampbell, Olga Dorothy "Dick" (Biggs) Huff, and Alta May "Dottie" (Biggs) Mace. Lillie also raised her granddaughter Barbara Ann "Bobbie" West.
Her siblings were: John O. Franklin Crowell, Cross Conquest Crowell, Annie Catherine (Crowell) Bertling, Lula Oma (Crowell) Ramsey, and Minnie Virginia Crowell. She also had three older half brothers. They were Lucuis Newton, Luciene Syme and Edward Ira Moses.
