ROBERT HALL DEAD Robert Hall, an old resident of Prairie Heights, died at his home there on Friday of last week, Feb. 24th, after suffering a week from heart failure and other complications. The deceased was well known in Hillsboro having resided here for a number of years. He first followed his trade of dyer and hatter when he came to Hillsboro, but owing to his poor health and the lack of demand for this character of work he has of late years been a poultry dressed (sic) employed at our local poultry houses. The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the family residence, Rev. A. H. Anthony of the Baptist church, officiating and the remains were laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery. The deceased was born in Orange county, North Carolina, Feb. 27, 1842 he was 68 years, 11 months and 24 days old when he died. He was married to Miss Mary L. Cook and 13 children were born to this union, 6 of whom are living, viz(?): Mrs. Minnie Lockland (sic) of Gillespie, Wm. Of Michigan, and Ira J., H. Burt, Guy and Lutie, all of this city. He also leaves 12 grandchildren.
