Services for Alyne Longino Ledbetter will be at 10 a.m, today, Aug. 3, 2007, in Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dan Patman officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Alyne was born on Oct. 4, 1914, in Ardmore to Homer A. and Lexie Harmon Longino. She passed this life peacefully on Aug. 1, 2007, in Ardmore at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. "Pete" Ledbetter; sisters and brothers, Etholyn Busch, Ruth Sims, Lawrence and Homer Longino; and son-in-law, Don Coe.

Alyne was a loving wife and homemaker, assisting her husband with their drilling company matters and continued her professional career after his death in 1968. She was active in professional organizations including Desk and Derrick Club and Association of Business and Professional Women, and went on to become one of the first travel agents in Ardmore, assisting Ruth Young Travel Service and Don Finney Travel Agency. She loved to travel and had visited every continent in the world.

She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and loved spending time with her family and dear friends. She was an accomplished seamstress, a hook and yarn's best friend. She loved all crafts, thus passing the love of creativity and design to her children and grandchildren.

She was a woman of impeccable taste, always the ladies' lady. A shining example of grace and dignity in all she did.

She is survived by a daughter, Norita Coe, Del Rio, Texas; son, Guy T. Ledbetter and wife, Midge, Ardmore; a sister, Dortha Davis, Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Brad Coe, Bracketville, Texas, Laura Dawn Ledbetter and Rachelle Graham, Fort Worth, Texas, Robyn Sowders and her husband, Donnie, Dickson; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua and Ashley Coe, Nevada Coe, Brandi Rae, Robert Stanley, Montanna Ducharme, Britt Jones, Brady Graham, Hunter Sowders; and a great-great-grandchild, Keller Stanley.
