My 2nd great grandfather was the son of Charles Wesley Coddington and Damaris Stevenson. He married Mary Ellen "Ella" Bentley on September 5, 1888 in Diagonal, Ringgold County, Iowa.
Enoch and Ella had the following children: Esther Myrtle, Harry Edgar, Robert, Floyd Easter, and Dorthy F. Coddington.
He later married Catharine Josephine "Kate" Crowner on December 14, 1910 in Ollie, Keokuk County, Iowa.

A. E. Coddington, Grainland Dist., Died, Tuesday
The death occurred in one of the local hospitals, Tuesday, of A. E. Coddington, 81-year-old retired farmer of the Grainland, Sask., district.
A native of the United States, the deceased had resided in Saskatchewan since 1908. He is survived by two sons, Lloyd (sic)(should be Floyd) Coddington, at Los Angeles, Cal., and Harry Coddington, at Bismarck, N.D.
Funeral services will be held at the parlors of the Bellamy Company, Thursday, November 27, at ten o'clock in the morning. Rev. H. A. Davidson, minister of Knox Presbyterian Church, will officiate, and interment will be made at Rosedale Cemetery.

Note: According to family stories, Enoch does not have a marker and was buried in a double grave. At the time of his death, the remaining family had been ill with chicken pox and another family friend made the arrangements.
