| Birth: | Jun. 22, 1986 Hilton Head Island Beaufort County South Carolina, USA | | Death: | Jun. 1, 2008 North Charleston Charleston County South Carolina, USA |  Steven Rand Rouvet, of North Charleston, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven June 1st suddenly and unexpectedly.
He is the son of Linda W. S. Rouvet of North Charleston and Bernard-Steven C. Rouvet of Hilton Head Island, SC.
Rand was a 2005 graduate of Fort Dorchester High School and attended Trident Technical College. He was a popular bartender at Smokey Bones Barbeque and Grill and was employed with them for more than three years.
He will probably be best remembered for his love of life as he was an extremely outgoing young man and had a knack for making people laugh. Rand dreamed of becoming a professional comedian. He was a kind, loving, sincere and devoted friend whose smiling face brought joy to everyone he touched. Everyone loved him and all who knew Rand felt like they were his best friend. He enjoyed performing his free-style music, entertaining people and playing X-Box with his friends. He dearly loved his girlfriend, Ali MacNeal, his friends, family and two dogs. Rand will be greatly missed by all whose life he touched.
Surviving, in addition to his dear parents, are his maternal grandparents, Gene and Juanita Ackerman of Summerville; his paternal grandmother, Marcelle Lautensack of Bluffton; loving sisters, Kori and Melody; aunts and uncles: Tricia and Jens Lueken of Cape Coral, FL; Gene and Jackie Wilhoit, and Kenneth Wilhoit all of Hilton Head, SC; and Dr. Dominque Rouvet and Dr. Sam Groseclose of Atlanta, GA; and numerous cousins.
