Geneva E. Casey, 82, of Bullitt Co., KY, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2003, at her home. She was born April 18, 1921, to the late David & Dessie Allen in Meade Co., KY, and a devoted member of Lone Hill United Baptist Church, until her passing. She is survived by her 4 beloved daughters, Laverne Gonterman of Mt. Washington, KY, Maxine Pilkenton of Louisville, Gayle Tomes of Fox Chase, KY, and Paula Logsdon of Louisville; her sisters, Bessie Perry and Evelyn Faust; her brother, Lewis Allen; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Reverend Alva M. Casey; her second husband of 12 years, Chester L. Hester; 5 sisters; and 7 brothers; including her loving and devoted twin, Juanita Tomes. Her funeral will be held at noon Wednesday at Lone Hill United Baptist Church, 5410 Mount Washington Rd., with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday and noon-8 p.m. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may go to the Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
