Annette Currie Pratt Shepard, was born in Springfield, TN on May 29, 1922 to her Parents; Bailey Warefield Pratt and Hattie Ola Watts Pratt.

She was blessed with three sisters; June, Bette Frances Pratt Fitzhugh, and Bailey Ruth Pratt Campbell.

As, a child she and her family attended Martin's Chapel United Methodist Church, and they were very dynamic in the community.

She married her Husband Thomas Tinsley Shepard on March 3, 1943 in Robertson County, TN and they had no children. They both worked in the Railroad business. After, railroad travel became no more Thomas became an auctioneer and Annette went into secretarial work.

Annette, was my Grandmother Bette's sister and she was my favorite Great Aunt. After my Grandmother passed away, she became like a second Grandmother to me. She really was a great and very loving caring woman. She meant so much to me and I miss her dearly. I know today, she is looking down and is so proud of me.

On July 10, 2001 Annette passed away after having complications from Carotid Artery surgery at the age of 79 years old.

Her visitation was held in the Dogwood Room at the Woodlawn Funeral Home in Nashville, TN and her funeral service was conducted from the Woodlawan Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers were; Mark Pratt, Robert Post, Pat Fitzhugh, Dr. Thomas Underwood, and Joseph Daugherty. After the funeral service she was entombed next to her husband, Thomas in the Woodlawn Cross Mausoleum on the third floor.

Relationship to Contributor: Great Aunt, and Second Grandmother to me after my Grandmother passed away.
