Services for William H. Gegner, 85, of 1513 Mondamin ave., who died at home Wednesday after several years illness, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Caldwell Brien Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Mr. Gegner, who was born in Oskaloosa, was a Des Moines resident 60 years. He formerly served many years as a Polk County deputy sheriff.
He is survived by his widow, Beatrice; one daughter, Mrs. Josephine Norman, and three sons, Harold, Harry and William J. all of Des Moines, Five grandchildren and five great-grand children.
