Margaret Johnson was daughter of William Johnson and Dianna Adams. Margaret married John "Jesse" Huey, born 1808, NC, buried Old Camp Ground, (1/2 mile north of the Johnson Cemetery) Decatur, MS. Margaret buried: Johnson Cemetery, Decatur, MS. Residence: Newton Co., MS.
In the book "History of the Johnson Family-Descendants of Isaac Johnson, Sr." (no longer in print) there is a description of the marked (as well as unmarked) graves in the Johnson Cemetery. The description was provided by Lee Elbert Johnson. Mr Johnson states that as a boy they kept Mr. Huey's grave cleaned off. Mr Johnson stated no markers were placed at either Margaret's grave in the Johnson Cemetery nor at John Huey's grave at the old Camp Ground.
