Family arrived in America 3 May 1903, ship "Neckar", Breman Germany to Baltimore, Maryland, to join brother-in-law Friedrich Mayer in Mansfield, Ohio (naturalization records state arrived 16 April 1903 at New York). Worked at Ohio Brass Company in Mansfield; was also a Richland County farmer, in Monroe Township. Believers in Christ Church.
