Jennie was the daughter of Richard Wesley Williams & Mary Wooten Williams.

On 30 May 1868, she became the wife of Kendall Miller. Together they were the parents of 13 children-Henry Clinton, James 'Uncle Jim' Monroe, William 'Gag' Agog, Ella (Rinehart), Mary 'Vada' Nevada (Anthony), Ollie (Rinehart), George 'Dewey' Dewey, Allie Marie (Anthony), twins Charles 'Ed' Edward and Fred, Orlie, and Lena Eva (Colvin).
