Pauline Bunch Farris, 73, of Riceville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native of Decatur, TN and longtime resident of Riceville, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Kate Sneed Bunch and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawton and Clifford "Shorty" Bunch.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Lee Farris of Riceville; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Judy and Tim Walker of Athens, Cathy and Olice Stone of Etowah, Lisa and Tim Bain of Athens, Sharon Russell of Etowah, and Tammy and Darris Upton of Norfolk, Va.; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bobby and Kim Farris, Tony and Carmen Farris and Jackie Farris, all of Athens; one stepdaughter, Wilma Farris of Dalton, Ga.; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Charlene Bunch of Cleveland; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary and Jack Hicks of Athens, and Lillian Lee of Decatur; 11 grandchildren, Misty Pilkey, Nathan Walker, Tyler Bain, Wesley and Jessica Farris, Amanda and Ashley Russell, Selena Upton, Cecil and Laken Farris, and Michelle Giron; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Clifford and Velma Brazzell and J. W. Hanks.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Farris and the Rev. Jerry Redman officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in McMinn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brian Walker, Scott Savugot, Mike Crabtree, Frank Lee, Timmy Clark and Tim Salvage.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
