Morris C. Palle, 95

Morris C. Pelle, 95, of Blair, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Morris C. Palle was born March 15, 1911, in Dannebrog to Rasmus and Karen (Nielsen) Palle. He attended the Dannebrog schools.

He lived in Omaha from 1931 until moving to Blair in 1983. While in Omaha, he worked at Alamito Dairy, Roberts Dairy, Omar Bakery and in sales management at Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company for 16 years, retiring in 1974.

On Feb. 9, 1935, he married Hildegarde H. Kluge in Omaha. After her death in 1966, he married Harriet Betts on April 16, 1983, in Blair.

Mr. Palle was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 281 in Omaha, Blair Eagles No, 3215, and First Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet; sons and daughters-in-law, Morris R. and Delores Palle of Gretna, Wayne and Jill Palle of Omaha; two granddaughters; one great-grand-daughter; stepson and wife, Larry and Darlene Betts of Lincoln, and stepdaughter and husband, Karen and Elzie Allen of Shel Knob, Mo.

In addition to his first wife, Hildegarde, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry C., Richard C. and Erik C. Palle, and a sister, Edith Grabe.

Memorials are suggested to the Good Shepherd Home, First Lutheran church or Omaha Home for Boys.
