Frances Frizsell Anderson
Valdese, N.C. - Mrs. Frances Frizsell Anderson, 88, of Granite Falls, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at her residence after a period of declining health.
Mrs. Anderson was born Oct. 21, 1919, in Buncombe County to the late John I. and Ida Belle Kelly Frizsell.
She was a member of Baton Baptist Church and retired from the Kohler and Campbell Piano Co.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Anderson; four brothers, Frank, Perry, Walt and Johnny Frizsell; three sisters, Annie Thompson, Elsie Berry Sherrill and Ella Buckner; and a grandchild, Abigail Sliker.
Surviving are her two daughters, Ruth Triplett and husband, David, and Linda Lail and husband, Terry, all of Granite Falls; a stepson, John Anderson of Lenoir; a stepdaughter, Mary Grant of Graham; and a brother, Joseph Frizsell of Rutherford College. Also surviving are three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Frances F. Anderson will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2008, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese, with the Revs. Carol Maltba and Larry Marley officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Lenoir.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
