Mrs. Orey Burriss Byrge, 79, of Jacksboro, died Sunday at LaFollette Community Hospital. A Baptist, she was the widow of the late John Byrge.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Heatherly officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Hazel) Freeman of Portland, Ind., Mrs. Bart (Janice) Slover of Vasper and Mrs. Bill (Patricia) Ausbine of Caryville; three sons, Clyde E. Byrge of Savannah, Ga., Odell and Donald Byrge, both of Dunkirk, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Omea Jones of Dutch Valley; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
