She married Milton John Teeple Saturday 25 Jul 1914 in Flint. After his death she married Charles Henry Yager Saturday 28 Jul 1923. She had been a resident of Flint for 65 years. She was a member of the Salvation Army Temple Corps, the Home League and League of Mercy.

Florence Catherine (Hill, Teeple) Yager of 1656 Wisconsin in Flint died Monday 13 Jan 1969 at the age of 71 y 2 m 19 d at McLaren General Hospital in Flint. Survivors included her husband, Charles of Flint; 3 daughters, Grace May & Joseph Leonard Brownrigg Sr of Flushing, Charlotte E 'Lottie' & Brady G Ijames of Ypsilanti, Christine Elamond 'Ella' & Max Adriam 'Mac' Gearhart and Betty June & Chester Everett Wells Jr all of Flint, and Violet M & Orville L Hill of Cheboygan; 2 sons, Howard Milton & Almarie (Patterson) Teeple and John Robert & Alice L (Prevost) Yager; both of Flint; 1 step-son Charles George & Doris (Barnett) Yager of Flint; and 3 sisters, Anna & Clyde Hursh of Flint, Emma Louise & Theodore Yager of Cadillac, Etta Mae & Robert A Ward of Avoca; 1 brother George Andrew & Mary A (McLain) Hill of Cadillac; 1 sister-in-law, Bessie May (Mrs James) Hill of Cadillac, 41 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James 16 May 1916 & Mary 25 Apr 1914; her first husband Milton John Teeple 01 May 1923; 3 brothers, James Henry Hill 08 May 1958, Joseph Frederick Hill 21 Mar 1968, Raymond Wilfred Hill 27 Oct 1913; and an infant sibling before 1900; 1 step-son Harold Clifford Yager 29 Sep 1943; 1 step-daughter Bertha Elnora Yager 19 May 1917; 1 Grandson, Chester Everett 'Corky' Wells III 10 Nov 1957; and 1 sister-in-law Camilla (Peterson) Hill 24 Mar 1966.

Visitation was until 10:30 am Wednesday 15 Jan 1969 at Brown Funeral Home at 1616 Davison Road in Flint. At 10:30 am she was transported to the Salvation Army Temple Corps Church for the funeral service. Funeral services were at 1 pm Wednesday 15 Jan 1969 at the Salvation Army Temple Corps with the Captain Paul Wilson officiating.

Major Rawlin lead the reading of the scripture and said the prayer and Captain Paul Wilson gave the funeral message. Samantha Eubanks sang 'Beyond the Sunset' and 'Will Say Goodbye Here, But Good Morning Up There'. Those who attended the service sang, 'Nearer My God to Thee' and 'Safe in the Arms of Jesus'.

Burial was in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Flint.
