Mason P. Harbin, 80, of Clay City, died Tuesday at 8:10 a.m. at the Flora Medical Center.
He was born January 17, 1895, at Wheatland, Ind., and had lived in Clay City for a number of years.
Funeral services will be held in the Clay City Chapel of the Cardascio-Easley Funeral Home with interment in Clay City cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home.
He was a veteran of World War 1 and was a member of the Clay City American Legion Post.
He is survived by his wife, Edna; two sons, John B. Harbin of Jald, N.M. and Ray Harbin of Clay City; and five daughters, Mrs. Betty Garbers of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Henrietta Mathews of Seminole, Okla., Mrs. Catherine Cockerell and Mrs. Martha Pearce, both of Clay City, and Mrs. Mary Rosborough of Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
A sister, Mrs. Bessie Jackson of Evansville, Ind., 21 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren also survive.
