Ora Albert Benner of Atwood died Sunday, February 3, 1952, on his 57th birthday, of a heart attack in New Port Richey FL. Funeral services were held in Waddington Funeral Home, Tuscola, with burial in Mackville Cemetery.

He was born February 3, 1895, s/o Charles and Minnie Benner. He leaves his wife, Mamie; three daughters: Mrs. Nancy Black; Mrs. Albert Fombelle, and Mrs. Ruth Randall, all of Atwood; one son, Wayne of Atwood; five grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Florence Snider of Atwood and Mrs. Mary Hanners of Ficklin, and three brothers: Clifford, Raymond and John, all of Tuscola. Another son, Ora Albert Jr., preceded him in death in 1938.

He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the Army. He was a retired farmer, having lived in the Atwood community for many years. He was spending the winter in Florida.
