Barbara Blanche Breingstall, youngest daughter of Ray and Viola Watson Breningstall, died at the University Hospital, Ann Arbor, Sunday evening, April 16th from whooping cough and pneumonia. She was born February 11, 1938 and died at the age of fourteen months. Surviving are her parents, one sister, Lillian Marie, and both paternal and maternal grandparents. Services were held at the home of the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Breningstall, Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. W. J. Prestidge, pastor of the Deerfield Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was made in the Petersburg Cemetery. - Monroe Evening News, April 17, 1939, and Petersburg Sun, April 21, 1939.
