Arthur Leslie Adams, age 86 died on December 8, 2001 after a short illness.
Mr Adams was born on July 19, 1915 in Baxter Springs, KS to Jesse Joseph and Elsie Jane (Fry) Adams.
He had lived in Phoenix since 1997, having moved from Baxter Springs. He was a member of the Peoria Assembly of God Church in Peoria, OK.
He was married to Ina Mae Morton on December 15, 1934 in Baxter Springs. She preceded him in death on January 24, 1996. He is survived by his second wife Erma whom he married on May 24, 1997, in Phoenix, AZ.
Other survivors include four sons, Jesse, Jerry, Leslie and Gregory, 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Services were held on Friday December 21 at Derfelts's Baxter Chapel in Baxter Springs, KS Burial was in the Lowell Cemetery. Family members served as pallbearers.
