James B. Hall

James B. Hall of Hopewell, R. D. 1, died on Saturday, December 28, 1963 at the Nason Hospital in Roaring Spring following a brief illness.

Born at Hopewell, R. D. 1, on September 26, 1889, he was a son of Charles and Adeline (Fluke) Hall. He married Maude Snyder on November 26, 1911 at Bedford.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: Homer A., Everett, R. D. 2; Roger E., Hopewell, R. D. 1 and Guy L., New Enterprise, R. D., Fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. One sister, Gertrude Hale, preceded him in death.

Mr. Hall was a retired farmer and a member of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, at 2 p.m. in the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Richard Grumbling and the Rev. Charles Heltzel will officiate and interment will be made in the Steele Cemetery, Hopewell, R. D. Friends are being received at the S. Gerald Weaver funeral home at Woodbury until 11 a.m. on Tuesday and at the church after 12 noon.
