Ben D. Cecil, St. Mary Farmer, died at 9:30 a.m. today during Mass at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church at St. Mary. He was 69. Cecil, employed during the winter at the Burley Tobacco Warehouse here for 20 years, worked yesterday. Death was attributed to a heart ailment from which he had suffered for about two years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson Cecil; two sons, Henry Cecil, St. Mary, and Ben D. Cecil, Jr., Norman, Okla.; three daughters, Sister Mary Bennett, Somerset, Ky., a former teacher at St. Michael School, Louisville, Mrs. E. O. Reinhart, Louisville, and Mrs. J. L. Buckler, St. Mary; a sister, Mrs. Edward Wingfield, Louisville; and 14 grandchildren. The body is at Bosley Funeral Home. At 1 p.m. tomorrow it will be taken to the residence. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
