Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Compton's Chapel, Rev. Bruce Weaver officiating. Burial in Rosemound cemetery.
Surviving are his widow; his mother, Mrs. A. Freeman, Paris, Texas, two sons James and Bobby of Waco; two daughters, Louise and Margie of Waco; two brothers Elmer and Lester of Texarkana, Robert and Buford of Paris and Edmond of the U. S. army in India.
