Thelma was the daughter of Lester and Tenice Lillian Davis Bonham Padgett, grand-daughter of John L. and Mimey Herrin Bonham, maternal grandparents were Robert Lee and Clara Mulvenie Davis.
Born in Wayne County, Ga. she moved with her family to Augusta, Ga. at a very early age.

She married Elton Wayne Davis of Texas, they lived in Texas for a while then moved back to Augusta, Ga. They had two daughters, Terry and Roxanne.

Thelma had two sisters, Doretha and a half sister Vonice. Two stepsisters, Audrey and Martha Padgett, two stepbrothers, Allen and Larry Padgett.

She later married Phillip Tinely of McBean, Richmond County, Ga. and had a stepdaughter Dee.

She was past president of the Spanish American War Veterans Women's Auxiliary, she loved bowling and card games.

We will never forget Fem, as her Granddaddy Bonham called her.
