Doris Alderson, 70, of Springdale, died Sept. 25, 1999, at Springdale. She was born Sept. 2, 1929, in Huntsville. She was retired from Tyson Foods and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Alderson.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Holman of Springdale, Brenda Farriester of Tontitown, Lana Fowler and Marsha Baird, both of Springdale; three brothers, Herman Evans of Huntsville, Clinton Powell of Berryville and Kenneth Powell of Huntsville; four sisters, Janice Harrelson of Ontario, Calif., Barbara JoAnn Gilbert of Elkins and Beverly McLeod and Winford Gregory, both of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale with Luke George officiating.
Burial will be in National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Holman, Eric Holman, Brian Farriester, Wade Fowler, Chancey Baird and Brent Baird.
