Taught physical education in the elementary schools, worked in construction and was a truck driver in Kearney.
Moved to Craig, 1985; worked for Steamboat Ski Corp. and later for various companies as a truck driver; last employment was with Trans Colorado Concrete Co.
Activities: member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Colorado; enjoyed skiing, fishing, hunting and bowling.
Survivors include: wife; son, Kirt of Craig; brothers, Mark and Timothy, both of Kearney; and sister, Barbara Peterson of Lincoln; also mother-in-law, Mildred Nienaber of Kearney and brothers-in-law, David Nienaber of Kearney and Derald Nienaber of Chicago.
